LIST OF CERTIFICATED CARRIERS

The Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) is a privileged license and requires the holder to meet a number of standards such as the establishment of uniform rates and the maintenance of proper insurance.  A CPCN also requires companies to have annual safety inspections of their vehicles and to verify that their drivers are qualified and drug-tested in accordance with federal guidelines.

    PASSENGER CARRIERS
The Nevada Transportation Authority regulates passenger which include Charter Limousine, Charter Bus, Taxicabs (outside Clark County), Non-Emergency Medical Transfer, Special Services, Airport Transfer and Scenic Tours.  

Taxicab companies within Clark County are regulated by the State of Nevada Taxicab Authority.

    HOUSEHOLD GOODS MOVERS
Any household goods moves from point to point within the State of Nevada need to be performed by a certificated mover. 

    TOW CAR COMPANIES
The TSA regulates tow car companies. There are two types of tow car certificates.  1. Consent-only tows and 2. Non-consent tows (vehicles towed at the request of law enforcement.)
